Setting Language & Region Preferences
Your Language & Region preferences control the display language of Leasecake and how dates, numbers, and measurements appear throughout your lease records and schedules. Setting these correctly ensures rent amounts, commencement dates, and payment schedules read the way you expect for your location.
What You Can Set
The Language & Region area groups several related preferences. Each one applies to your own account and changes how information is displayed to you, not to other members of your workspace.

Why Time Zone Matters for Lease Dates
Leasecake uses your time zone to display deadlines such as option notice dates and period-close cutoffs. Because lease lifecycle events — like when a lease commences or expires — are evaluated against calendar dates, keeping an accurate time zone helps ensure these transitions line up with your local expectations.
These preferences affect only how information is shown to you. They do not change the underlying lease data, the stored amounts, or how schedules are calculated.
